The safe stop function can be activated using PROFIsafe for MOVIDRIVE® B drive inverters in accordance with EN 954-1.

The safety-oriented output can be used to bring a single MOVIDRIVE®/MOVITRAC® B or a group of MOVIDRIVE®/MOVITRAC® B units to a safe stop.
The figure shows the implementation of a PROFIsafe installation with MOVIDRIVE
® B drive inverter with integrated switch-off and standard motors or gearmotors.
MOVIMOT® gearmotors with integrated frequency inverters can be controlled using PROFIsafe in conjunction with type MQS../Z.6F field
distributors. Field distributors with an integrated MOVIMOT® inverter of the type MQS../Z.7F and MQS../Z.8F are also equipped with a PROFIsafe interface. This provides the safe stop
function.
The figure shows use of a comprehensively decentralized installation right through to the control level via PROFIsafe, for
use in safety applications compliant with EN 954-1, category 3.
The MOVIFIT® drive control in conjunction with MOVIFIT® MC or FC can be controlled with can also be controlled with PROFIsafe using the PROFIsafe option S11. This provides the safe
stop function. The PROFIsafe option S11 also provides four safety-oriented inputs for connecting safe sensors and two safety-oriented
outputs.
